In Into the Light, the player controls a ball of flame as a source of light and adventures through pitch-black hazardous places filled with monsters and traps. As the player travels through these stages, he or she has to avoid traps and hazards such as water, falling rocks, and shadow monsters. The ultimate goal is to reach the end of each stage until the final stage where the player lights up a volcano.
